Originally from La Spezia, Mattia has a solid nautical background and has attained the qualification of Yacht Captain, building his professional path entirely at sea. Before dedicating himself to navigation, he was an athlete of the Italian National Rowing Team He began his career as a deckhand on diving boats, then moved on to classic yachts He became a captain while sailing on Adriatica, the boat of Velisti per Caso, and later worked on sailing yachts used for charter operations in both the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, before eventually taking command of large yachts Over the years, he has developed extensive experience not only in handling and management, but also in the maintenance of a wide range of vessels. Within Elba Outdoor, he is primarily responsible for fishing charters and has a deep knowledge of the marine environment and wildlife, gained through many years of fishing experience, both from boats and freediving. He also leads sea excursions on board the Robalo and Zaurak throughout the Tuscan Archipelago, exploring its islands and coastlines.
