The waters surrounding Elba Island are part of the Tuscan Archipelago National Park and the Pelagos Sanctuary, a vast marine protected area shared by Italy, France and the Principality of Monaco, and home to whales, dolphins and other fascinating marine mammals.
This is not a show cruise, and there are no guarantees.
Cetacean sightings cannot be assured: the experience is based on respectful observation, listening to the sea, and the principles of responsible whale watching.
n the morning, we sail offshore in search of cetaceans. On board, Carlotta and Lisa, a naturalist and a marine biologist, are certified High Quality Whale Watching® (HQWW®) guides and will accompany you throughout the cetacean observation, sharing knowledge about species, behavior and the delicate balance of this marine ecosystem.
In the afternoon, the perspective changes.
The sea is explored from within, through guided snorkeling in carefully selected areas. A slow and mindful activity that allows you to explore the coastal marine environment, read the seabed and recognize species and habitats, with the support of the guide.
We depart from Portoferraio and return to port in the late afternoon, after a full day spent entirely at sea, immersed in observation, knowledge and an authentic connection with the marine environment.
